The 108-member William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine medical class participated in a welcoming ceremony and orientation activities August 1 - 3. This is the third WCUCOM class, composed of 67 men and 41 women.

The William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine welcomed its class with an opening ceremony on August 1, followed by a week of orientation activities. The 108- member class includes 67 men and 41 women, the majority of whom are from or have ties to the Gulf-South U.S.

The Area Development Partnership, the Historic Hattiesburg Downtown Association, the City of Hattiesburg, and VisitHATTIESBURG will host a private reception to welcome the new WCUCOM medical students and faculty on Wednesday, August 8, at the Historic Depot in downtown Hattiesburg.
