The customary hustle and bustle returned to The University of Southern Mississippi campus today (Aug. 22) as students scurried to classes for the first day of the 2012 Fall Semester.
For sophomore Darrionne Myles, of New Orleans, the new academic year inspires a mixture of excitement and nervousness.
“I am a little worried about my professors, wondering if they will be tough or kind of easy this semester,” said Myles, a journalism major who is taking 18 credit hours for the fall term. “But I’m definitely ready for the new semester to start. I had my summer break and I’m eager to get going again.”
