WCU welcomes new medical students | Schools

The William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine welcomed new medical students to school with orientation activities August 1-3. Included in the orientation schedule were welcoming sessions, distribution of medical instruments, lectures on study skills , overviews of courses, a student organization fair, and breakfast fellowships sponsored by Amite County Medical Services, Inc., Regions Bank, and Crowne Apartments. The students were also treated to a picnic sponsored by the COM Student Activities Association.

The Area Development Partnership, the Historic Hattiesburg Downtown Association, the City of Hattiesburg, and VisitHATTIESBURG will host a private reception to welcome the new WCUCOM medical students and faculty on August 8, at the Historic Depot in downtown Hattiesburg.
