Carriere native named Miss WCU 2012 | Schools

The following is press release from William Carey University:

Chelsey Maywalt of Carriere was named Miss William Carey University 2012. Miss WCU is voted on by the student body as the student who best represents the values of the university.

Chelsea, the daughter of Timothy and Marie, graduated from Carey in May with a major in business administration and a minor in management/marketing. She is continuing her studies at WCU as an MBA student, and works as a graduate assistant in the alumni office at Carey. Chelsea was SGA president, a member of Carey Connection, a member of Alpha Chi National College Honor Society, and named Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. She also received the Alumni Association School Spirit Award at Honors Day 2012. She is a graduate of Pearl River County High School. 

Named Mr. WCU was Nicholas Holland of Meridian.
