City of Hattiesburg proposed redistricting plans displayed for public viewing | Schools

The following is a press release from the City of Hattiesburg:
Large-scale copies of four proposed redistricting plans have been placed on display at City Hall.
The City Council will vote to select one of the plans at its regular meeting, July 3, at City Hall, 200 Forrest Street. The time for that meeting has been changed from 4:30 p.m. to 11 a.m.
Citizens can examine the plans from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. weekdays. Large copies of the proposed plans will be available starting on June 25, at the C.E. Roy Community Center, 300 East 5th St., and at the Library of Hattiesburg, Petal and Forrest County, 329 Hardy Street.
The plans are also available on the City’s website, www.hattiesburgms.com and on Facebook. Citizens can request emailed copies of the proposed plans at council@hattiesburgms.com.
