WCU plants tree to honor Chinese students | Schools

Vice president for advancement and church relations at William Carey University, Dr. Scott Hummel, and some of the university's Chinese students planted a Chinese Golden Rain Tree in celebration of the growing number of Chinese students who attend the university. The tree also acknowledges the faculty and student exchange partnership WCU and China’s Linyi University established in 2007. The tree is located near the WCU College of Osteopathic Medicine.
