Twenty-three pre-school age graduate from Children's Center
HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM)- Twenty-three pre-school age children at the Children's Center for Communication and Development walked the stage Friday to receive their diplomas.
Since 1974 the center has led Mississippi in early intervention services for pre-school age children with significant disabilities. Their program provides the necessary skills in language, cognitive and physical development, and emotional growth to prepare them to move to the next stage of their education.
The center currently serves 90 families from as many as 22 South Mississippi counties.
