Mother allegedly leaves child in car, child dies, judge sets bail | News
A Forrest County Justice Court judge on Monday set bond for a mother who allegedly left her child in a car for two hours, resulting in the toddlers death.
Judge Robert Davis set bond for mother Alicia Shaw at $100,000. According to the judge, if convicted, Shaw would face a maximum of five years in jail, and a $5,000 charge.
Shaw has been charged with felony contributing to the delinquency of a minor child resulting in death. The child was 3-years-old.
Shaw was arrested Friday evening and was turned over to Forrest County Deputies at the County Line.
