Title (Max 100 Characters)
A special showing of the new movie, “Last Ounce of Courage,” was seen September 11, Patriots Day, by thousands across the country in select theaters including Laurel and Hattiesburg theaters. The independent film is written and produced by Richard and Gina Headrick of Laurel in partnership with Veritas Entertainment, and opened in over 1,400 theaters across the nation September 14, with the World Premiere being shown in Nashville, Tennessee. The movie will be shown in the Pine Belt beginning on September 14 at The Grand Theater in Hattiesburg, the Bonita Lakes United Artist Theater in Meridian and the United Artist Sawmill Square Theater in Laurel.
“Last Ounce of Courage” is based on a book written by the Headricks about the war that has been raging in our country against our Christmas traditions and our freedoms and is a testament to what one man is willing to do for his God, his country and his family, regardless of the cost. The movie seeks to honor the men and women of our military who have sacrificed so dearly for our nation’s freedoms and inspire individuals to not take those freedoms for granted, but to stand up, with their “last ounce of courage,” and bravely defend those freedoms.
The movie follows the life of a father, son and grandfather who each take a stand for truth and end up inspiring an entire town, while bringing their family back together.
