Holifield Receives Washburn Scholarship | Events

The following is a press release from William Carey University:

(left to right) Dr. Daniel Caldwell, professor of religion and dean of the Cooper School of Missions and Biblical Studies at William Carey University, presented the 12th Annual William Washburn Scholarship to Karen “Jay” Holifield of Pascagoula on behalf of the Mississippi Baptist Convention Board of Ministerial Education. Holifield is a senior religion major and history minor who currently serves as student manager of Common Grounds coffee house on campus. She plans to attend Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary upon graduation and her area of interest is Bible translation.
