PRCC invites high school seniors to preview college experience | Events

The following is a press release from Pearl River Community College:

High school seniors have two opportunities soon to get up-close looks at Pearl River Community College.

The annual Wildcat Fest 2012 will be held Oct. 23, on the Poplarville campus. Students will go on campus walking tours, attend the PRCC Information Fair and enjoy food, games, prizes and scholarship give-aways. They also will talk with PRCC students, instructors and admissions, financial aid and housing advisors.

Students will attend based on the following schedule - 9 a.m., Pearl River County schools; 10 a.m., Hancock County schools; 10:30 a.m., Forrest and Lamar county schools; 11 a.m., Marion and Jefferson Davis county schools.

Seniors also will receive free admission to PRCC’s last home football game at 7 p.m., Oct. 25. They are asked to wear white for Whiteout the Stadium night.

Kickoff against Hinds Community College is at 7 p.m. in Dobie Holden Stadium on the Poplarville campus.
