Little Dog Cinema in Hattiesburg screens 1966's Batman, in the street | Events
Title (Max 100 Characters)
Little Dog Cinema will be closing East Front St. in downtown Hattiesburg to set up a movie screen to show Batman: The Movie, the 1966 version, on July 14 at 8 p.m. This is the full length feature movie staring Adam West as Batman.
Before the feature film Little Dog Cinema will be showing some other local content, like a local independent short film, and other things as they are confirmed.
Little Dog Cinema wanted to provide Hattiesburg with a new fun event, and to help drive business and awareness to the downtown area. All of the businesses on East Front Street are very supportive of the event and think it will be another reason to drive people to downtown.
Little Dog Cinema is providing this event for free for all, but they are encouraging people to support their business through purchasing a $5 raffle for $100 worth of Front St. businesses' gift cards. This money will be used to bring more events like this to the Hattiesburg area.
The Hattiesburg Jaycees will also be on hand selling popcorn to raise money for their chapter.
