JORT closes season with Dixie Swim Club | Arts & Culture

Just Over the Rainbow Theatre closes its 2012-13 theatre season with the play, Dixie Swim Club.  Directed by retired Southern Miss theatre professor RB Hill, the show will run March 7-10 and 14-16 at the Petal Humanities Complex located at 120 South George Street in Petal.

This comedy centers on five southern women from the college swim team who reunite every year at a weekend beach cottage.  The playwrights are Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope, and Jamie Wooten, who wrote and produced the television show “The Golden Girls.” The hilarious and touching story about friendships that last forever has universal appeal to both women and men.
