Open mic every Thursday at Downtown Grill & Grocery | Arts & Culture

Open Mic Night is every THURSDAY NIGHT at Downtown Grill & Grocery with signup starting at 10 p.m. This event is intended to put together musicians/artists/comedians in the Hattiesburg area to create the a diverse Open Mic Night.

The following equipment is provided for every open mic night but you're welcome to bring any of your own:

• Grill & Grocery house system
• 3 SM 58 mics & 1 SM 57
• Fender stratocaster w/ Peavey Delta Blues 2X10 amp
• Off-brand Cruise 4-string bass guitar w/ Fender Bassman amp & cab
• Tama Rock Star set (which include kick, snare, 1 rack tom, floor tom, crash ride, & hi-hats)
• 1/8 inch input for ipod or computer through the system
• House projector if anybody wishes for any visuals

 

This event also includes Karaoke if anybody wishes to belt out one of their favorites!

The house library consists of 9500+ songs and if it's not on the library we can try to find the desired song on Youtube!
