William Carey Golf to host Fundraising Tournament on Sept. 29 |

William Carey men and women’s golf team will host a fundraising 4-person scramble on September 29 at Shadow Ridge Golf. The tournament, sponsored by Big Star Supermarkets, will honor long time PGA Professional and past President of the PGA James Ray Carpenter.

The tournament features an 8 a.m. breakfast and a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Macks Grubbs Automotive will sponsor closest to the hole prizes and one lucky person will win a year’s supply of coke courtesy of Hattiesburg Coca-Cola.

The cost is $75 a player/ $300 per team and includes a Carey/Shadow Ridge golf hat.  Additional information can be obtained by calling Dick Vogel at 601-318-6762.
