Center for Logistics, Trade and Transportation holds Strategic Planning Meeting |

The University of Southern Mississippi’s Center for Logistics, Trade and Transportation recently held its fall 2012 strategic planning meeting, which brought together members of the CLTT Industry Advisory Council representing a broad range of stakeholders from the public and private sectors.
“IAC members had the opportunity to discuss and make critical decisions regarding the direction of the CLTT, its five-year goals and strategic plan,” said Tulio Sulbaran, CLTT director.
Dr. Joe Whitehead, dean of the College of Science and Technology and Mike Bonnette, associate director for Development, welcomed the more than 40 stakeholders in attendance.
Robert Burt, Mississippi Department of Transportation, IAC Chair; MaryAnn Moon, Galvin Creek, LLC, IAC Vice-Chair; and Anthony Hauer, Natchez-Adams County Port, IAC Executive Secretary/Treasurer engaged attendees in an open discussion to gather ideas about the CLTT’s five-year strategic goals, including meeting the ever-changing needs of the Gulf Region.
