A history graduate student at The University of Southern Mississippi will soon be joining an elite team of researchers as they attempt to learn more about the fate of American soldiers from World War II missing in action in the South Pacific since the war ended in 1945.

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM)- Dream of Hattiesburg is getting help in rebuilding their library that was lost when their resource center on Hutchinson Ave. was destroyed during the Feb. 10, tornado.

Not only did the organization lose their resource center, but also everything in it including their 1500 book library.

A local neighborhood volunteer group lead by Ward 4 Councilman Dave Ware, State Representative Toby Barker, and community leader Chris Price is donating 300 books to DREAM so they can continue to offer their tutoring programs in reading.
